Ceramic Pottery Sculpture
Clay is an easy medium to use for making sculptures. In it’s raw form clay can be easily rolled, etched, carved and moulded into any shape or form. Large elaborate ceramic pottery sculptures may need structural support before firing.
Remember to keep the sculpture moist until finished by covering with a damp cloth when not working on your sculpture. Although air dried clay can be reclaimed by soaking in water, a partial completed work cannot be re-moistened without destroying it and starting again.
